Eligible retired Law Enforcement Officers, as provided for under the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act (HR 218), who wish to qualify under the Illinois Retired Officer Concealed Carry (IROCC) program, must make application for “pre-certification” directly with the IROCC office in Springfield.

After pre-certification with IROCC is accomplished the retired officer must then telephone the IROCC office in Springfield, at 217-726-9537, to schedule the date, time and location of their qualification shoot.
