REQUIREMENTS
Officers entering either a Full-Time or Part-Time Academy must pass the Peace Officer Wellness Evaluation Report (P.O.W.E.R. Test) within 45 days prior to entering the Academy.  Officers must also have had a medical physical fitness exam within 60 days prior to the P.O.W.E.R. test and entrance into the Academy.  This Physical Fitness exam must be completed and a Medical Certificate signed by the examining physician.  The completed Medical Certificate must be presented to when reporting for the P.O.W.E.R. Test.

Our Mission

The Southern Illinois Criminal Justice Training Program,
Mobile Team Unit 15, strives to improve the quality of law enforcement services provided by its member agencies through the delivery of high quality law enforcement training to the individual members of those agencies.

MTU 15 also strives to increase the level of officer safety and to reduce potential liability, for both the individual members and their agencies, through the delivery of such training.
